KhabaarCo, a global literary salon & supper club highlighting changemakers, activists, writers, & chefs presents an exciting culinary retreat curated in the tranquil Joshua Tree National Park region of California.
The all-inclusive retreat in the heart of high desert Joshua Tree in a serene secluded space with a state-of-the-art kitchen, pool and exclusive amenities will include mindful conversations on food, sourcing, & cooking demos with locally sourced produce.
Guest speakers include Masterchef S6 winner & San Diego legend, Chef Claudia Sandoval & Tahona’s mezcal & cocktail magician, Mehmet Cem.
A time to deeply reflect on food, words, origins, borders, culture and how to be better neighbors.
We will speak with renowned California & Tijuana culinary experts, participate in sound healing mediations at The Integratron, plus cooking demos, mezcal tasting, cocktail demos from Chef Claudia, & Cem with discussions on food, writing/journaling, & building community with chef, TEDx speaker, KhabaarCo founder, & author Madhushree Ghosh.
The retreat included curated meals, introduction to writing about food & hands-on prep of Mexican & Indian dishes with exciting cocktail demos & mezcal tasting.
